IRISH TRAD SESSION 

Live Traditional Irish Folk every Monday at The Fiddler’s Elbow. 

Providing the perfect conclusion to the previous weekend or an ideal jumping off point for the forthcoming week, our alternating roster of performers means that all facets of Irish Folk are covered.

One group has the pub rocking with Irish drinking songs by the likes of The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers, & The Pogues. While the other collective offer a much more customary, genteel, instrumental “jam” that is serene and delightful. 

OPEN MIC 

Not content with the best Guinness in Brighton, we at The Fiddler’s set out to have the best Open Mic in Brighton too! 

This boisterous affair is hosted by the ebullient Dubliner, Evan Walsh. Starting at 8pm every Sunday and carrying on into the wee hours. Be prepared to bellow your self horse, while Evan & Co belt out sing-a-long anthems of the highest order. 

Arrive early as this one can get BUSY! 

THE CRACKLIN’ GRIFFINS 

The more rambunctious of our alternating groups from a Monday, ditch the 3 piece vibe and go full band (5, 6, 7 people sometimes!) to bring the full on Celtic experience to The Fidds. 

Accordions, tin whistles, banjos, fiddles, a plethora of Irish drinking songs, and plenty of craic make the first Friday of every month feel like it’s Paddy’s Day over and over again!
